Many parents are overwhelmed by the cost of college. Most have not saved up
enough money to put one child through college let alone two or three. We are
here to help parents understand how it's possible to pay for college while still
achieving their own financial goals. The sooner parents come to us for our help
and services, the better we are able to help them prepare for and reduce the
cost of college.
Some misconceptions regarding the cost of college:
- public state schools are less expensive than private schools
- middle income families make too much money to receive financial aid
- my son/daughter doesn't make good enough grades to get any scholarships or
grants
By working with both the student and parents, we help find the right school for
the right cost.
We work with the parents in developing strategies for:
- managing cash flow before and during the college years
- realigning the family's financial resources
- finding schools that are more likely to grant aid to their individual student
- managing college loans
