Student FAQs

What does The College Navigator do for the students?
To begin, we help the students to determine possible career interests and college majors. Based on students' preferences and academic accomplishments, we then identify colleges and universities that are a good fit for the student both academically and financially. We help guide the students through all of the steps involved in finding and applying to the most appropriate schools; including preparation for the SAT and ACT tests, applications and essays, comparison of acceptance offers and financial aid, and keeping track of all the different test, application, and financial aid deadlines. We are here to help and answer all of your questions throughout the entire process. College FAQs

I have good grades. Are my SAT and/or ACT test scores really all that important? YES! Most colleges are still depending on SAT and/or ACT scores to compare and gauge students' academic ability. Not only can it make the difference between being accepted or denied to a school, but it is also a basis in many schools for determining the level of financial aid awarded. The higher your score, the more you are eligible for aid. We can help you prepare for your tests and help you determine which test(s) you should take based upon your academic skills and the individual college requirements.
