CSS/Financial Aid Profile

The CSS Profile is the financial aid application service of the College Board. Many colleges use this form to determine nonfederal student aid awards. If any of the colleges that the student is applying to is a participating member to College Board, then this financial aid form should be completed. This form will need to be completed by the college's designated deadline. As with all the other applications, missing a deadline could mean ineligibility for financial aid.

This form is a supplemental form and is not meant to be a substitute for the FAFSA.

You may wonder why all the different types of financial aid forms: FAFSA, CSS Profile, and various Institutional (school-specific) forms. Each form's method of calculating a family's financial position is different. One form may take into consideration a regional cost-of-living, another form may not. We are aware of the differences and by looking at your overall family financial picture, we can make recommendations.
